Beurre, meaning ‘Butter’ in English, and Plaisir, meaning ‘Pleasure,’ perfectly capture the core of Flavy’s home bakery. Butter is her favorite ingredient – it’s the heart of every pastry creation she makes, defining its richness and flavor. In the world of pastry, butter is indispensable, especially for making enriched brioche, flaky croissants, travel cakes and so much more. Each pastry is made using only French butter, Isigny Sainte-Mère, ensuring her pastries are infused with a luxurious, buttery taste. Flavy’s goal is simple: to bring you pure joy and create sweet, unforgettable memories.

Flavy brings a unique background of creativity and technical expertise to Beurre de Plaisir, where every creation celebrates the joy of French pastry. As a UX Designer by profession, she brings her eye for detail to every pastry, ensuring each creation is both visually stunning and deeply satisfying.
Flavy’s journey into baking began at Paris’s prestigious pastry school, Ferrandi. There, she mastered professional techniques and iconic French pastries – a decision she considers one of the best of her life.
Her passion has taken her across Europe, from Stockholm to Amsterdam, Brussels, the South of France, and Paris. These travels inspire her signature creations, from artisanal cookies to buttery travel cakes and enriched brioches.
